When Be Crowned approached Nextpack to help them with their hair topper offering, we instantly fell in love with the cause. From the very beginning, partnering with two passionate hair industry icons to empower women experiencing hair loss felt like a project made for us. Since then, hair wigs and toppers have evolved beyond a niche – they’re now mainstream, and confidently so.

Ultimately, no one should have to suffer in silence or turn to risky medications just to feel confident. Fortunately, thanks to Be Crowned, the dream of a lush, full head of hair is now beautifully within reach. Furthermore, with the custom packaging and accessories we designed, unboxing your personalised hair topper feels like receiving a crown – a celebration of confidence and beauty.

Millions of women worldwide experience hair loss, far beyond the traditionally associated markers of aging or menopause. In fact, even younger women are experiencing thinning hair, often due to increased exposure to harmful chemicals in everyday beauty and hair care products, as well as the rising stress of modern life.

Equally important, what truly sealed the deal for us in taking on this very special project was Be Crowned’s vision to take their hair topper ‘crowns’ to hospitals and foundations and to donate a portion to those desperately in need yet unable to afford a topper. By doing so, they extend their mission beyond beauty—helping women undergoing chemotherapy or living with long-term alopecia regain confidence and feel beautiful is truly the heart of this project.

For example, the Be Crowned box is more than a presentation – it’s a ‘gift for yourself.’ Beyond aesthetics, it’s also a stylish, practical way to transport your crown, keeping it safe and pristine. Meanwhile, elegant satin pouches remove the stigma often linked to wigs, keeping each topper smooth and silky.

Additionally, the wig stand, designed with feminine lace and adjustable height, is a game changer, making storage, brushing, and styling effortless. Finally, to complete the kit, Be Crowned needed a bag that fits everything, reflects their iconic red, and clients love to reuse. Mission accomplished.

Enter Nextpack. Over six months, we collaborated closely with Be Crowned to develop 80+ premium hair toppers. As a result, each of the 17 unique colours gained its own personality, inspired by iconic celebrities – think ‘Coco’ for Chanel, ‘Cher,’ and ‘Audrey’ for Hepburn – fun and memorable.

Be Crowned rebranded the toppers as crowns – a perfect fit for any queen. Each craftsperson handmakes the crowns using a specialised knotting technique for a natural, nearly undetectable look. Hand-blended strands enhance authenticity, ensuring every crown feels as real as it looks.
