When your business mission is to curate high end hampers to create special moments for customers, the presentation of each hamper needs to be beautiful and on point.
However, before engaging Nextpack, The Hamper Emporium’s (THE) classic black hamper box fell short of their expectations.
Throughout the packing and transport process, THE’s boxes were wearing the impact. The culprit – a plastic matte laminated film on a black surface, a notorious combination that shows every scuff and scratch. The result, a less-than-ideal appearance when reaching customers’ doorsteps.
Enter Nextpack. We were solicited to develop an anti-scratch & anti-scuff eco-friendly hamper box that would present beautifully whilst showcasing THE’s brand details with a slant of simplicity & sophistication. The hamper box also needed to ensure the protection of all contents within the box during transport.

We knew we needed to completely reinvent THE’s hamper box. The answer? Sheree, our Founder & Creative Director, travelled extensively overseas to figure this out. Sheree tested hundreds of finishes, textures and surface materials before determining the correct level of shine, depth and direction of texture needed for the hamper box that would ensure no scuffs and scratches, whilst adhering to THE’s brand requirements.
We paved the way by developing a collapsible folding box that oozes luxury, is hard wearing and uses recycled material with no ghastly plastic lamination.
As a result, we were able to lift THE’s brand perception significantly; no longer was there unsightly scratch and scuff marks all over their boxes, helping to drive a better end customer experience and a higher brand perception.
